Breaking News: Security Raid Anita Among’s Home, Serious Search Taking Place

In the news this afternoon, Security operatives have launched a serious search at Bukedea Women MP also former Speaker of the 11th parliament Annet Anita Among as corruption scandals linked to her take a dark turn.

Also under surveillance are Anita Among’s close associates whom she has working with while serving as speaker of the 11th parliament. Her other home in Kigo along Entebbe Road has also been sealed off by security.

Trouble continues to hover above Anita Among and close associates as president Museveni tightens his noose on the Bukedea District MP who has acquired a lot of wealth ever since she became speaker splashing and buying expensive rides including a Rolls Royce worthy Shs3.4billion she acquired two weeks ago.

Reports also suggest that Anita Among, her close associates and the parliamentary commissioners might be arrested and questioned about the corruption scandals that clothed the 11th parliament.

This search follows a tough meeting held at state house two days ago where Museveni openly told off Anita among that he’s tired of corruption in parliament and reportedly told her not to waste her time to campaign for speakership as the party is set to unveil another candidate.

The Chief of Defense Forces has since endorsed West Budama Central legislator also outgoing Minister of Defense and Veteran affairs Jacob Oboth Oboth who is even today hosting a thanksgiving at his residence in Mukono.

Among’s close associate also Masaka City women legislator Justin Namere was last evening abducted as she conducted drives in the city celebrating her swearing in.

Reports have since suggested that her Munyonyo home was searched and huge sacks of cash were found reportedly linked to the troubled former speaker of the 11th parliament Anita Among.
