Speaker Anita Among is currently on the receiving end with many Ugandans questioning her lifestyle after shipping in a Shs3.4billion posh car 2025 Rolls Royce Cullinam ahead of Museveni’s swearing it.
The speaker is now finding hard time to even campaign for her speakership bid against Norbert Mao after the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Muhoozi joined those questioning her Rolls Loyce pointing at extravagant spending of tax payer’s money.

Reports indicate that Anita Among got this posh car as a birthday gift from a friend she’s yet to name and it was airlifted direct from the UK to Entebbe Airport and she paid it’s taxes worth Shs1.3billion.
Many of those who know how power and influence change in a blink of an eye now say Anita Among may end up regretting flaunting all these expensive houses and cars which her predecessors never did even with huge budgets and a long time in a position she holds.
Not Ssekandi who was speaker for 10 years or Kadaga who was Deputy speaker for 10 years and speaker for 10 years ever flaunted such riches like how Anita Among has done exposing herself to scrutiny at an opportune moment.
Prominent Cartoonist also Lecturer Dr. Jimmy Spire Sentongo has questioned whether Anita Among ever thinks before making such moves. He reminded her of how hard it is to find property or even cars belonging to those in power especially the first family apart from speculating.

They move around in one colour of shirt all year, or only in military uniforms – not conspicuous designer clothes. We don’t know any private car of theirs. And you come in splashing posh cars, buildings, expensive designer clothes … Do you even think?”-posted Spire.
