In the document, he revealed that Muhoozi and his Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) had retracted endorsement of Anita Among and Tayebwa for re-election as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 11th parliament.

He went ahead and indicated that their patron Muhoozi had requested all PLU affiliated MPs to support a candidate who will be presented to them by President Museveni signaling a powerful shift that Museveni might present another candidate other than Anita Among for Speakership.

It’s said that Speaker Anita Among and other NRM top dogs were invited to a high stakes meeting to shape the speakership race and Anita Among was quizzed to make her case and respond to allegations of corruption before the president and why she should be handed another term.

Details from that meeting are yet to be revealed for the public to know whether Anita Among was given the last chance of not but something has started shaking the race and it’s not good news to the Anita Among camp.
