If there’s a time Anita Among has ever needed God and even take a flight to Vatican to get the pope organize mass for her alone, it’s now. She’s a stressed woman after falling from Grace to Grass in the last one week.
Frightened, abandoned and those she called close friends all fearing to even say hi to her due to the complexity of her troubles, Anita Among has seen her downfall in just week, from being the very powerful woman to now being ridiculed as government prepares which charges to place on her.
It’s reported that as she left the troublesome Entebbe State house meeting where was tasked to explain her wealth, Anita Among was directed by president Museveni to keep with in the confines of her Nakasero residence.
Among the things seized from her homes are her personal phones, computers and luxury vehicles. It has now been revealed that even her passport has been withheld and told not to leave her home unless when invited to the Crime Investigations Directorate (CID) in Kibuli, she’s literally under house arrest.
To add the mix on this misery, are reports that Anita Among’s bank accounts have been frozen by the Financial Intelligence Authority (FIA) as detectives piece together evidence which will be relied on to try her in the courts of law.
Posting on his X account formerly Twitter, the Chief of Defense Forces also Museveni’s Senior Presidential Advisor on Special operations Muhoozi Keinerugaba said that the luxurious Rolls Royce which is at the center of this storm recovered from Anita Among’s residence will be auctioned and money returned to treasury.
We captured the Rolls-Royce. It’s under our control. We shall auction it and recover the funds of the state.

Thomas Tayebwa who was Anita Among’s Deputy at parliament is yet to be squeezed the same way, he has instead been endorsed by Muhoozi for another term to retain the Deputy Speakership.
